Introducing the Colorado Ukrainian PAC
This past week, former US President Donald J. Trump stated that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy was at fault for Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. “He [Zelenskiy] should never have let that war start,” Trump told a podcast “Those cities are gone, they’re gone, and we continue to give billions of dollars to a man who refused to make a deal.”
As anyone reading this blog surely knows, Putin and his criminals seized Crimea and part of the Donbas in 2014; Zelenskiy was not elected Ukraine’s president until 2019. On February 24, 2022, Putin launched an unprovoked, full-scale invasion of independent, sovereign Ukraine.
Ukrainians of Colorado is a non-partisan organization. We urge support for Ukraine from all parties, all sides. We invite your attention to a new Colorado Ukrainian Political Action Committee: www.coloradoukrainianpac.org
We share with them a common conviction that it is important for Ukrainian Americans to participate in the political process and to vote for candidates who support Ukraine’s just fight.
In Colorado, ballots have been already mailed to all registered voters; in-person voting begins on October 21. All ballots must be received or cast by the time polling service centers close on November 5. If you are eligible to vote, please make sure you are registered. If you are registered, please vote. Ukraine’s future may depend on the outcome.
