We continue sharing the families we have been able to support and help with the donations we received from our “Freedom Bags”. We dedicated these funds to support families with children with disabilities on the Eastern front in Ukraine.

Today, we share the story of Sofiya who is 3 years old. Sofiya has a disability due to heart failure and needs special attention.

Today, we share the story of The Lysyuk Family: Assistance is needed for their son, Vsevolod, who is 3 years old. The family is displaced and has three children. Vsevolod has been diagnosed with a mental disorder.

Continuing on showcasing the families we have been able to support and help with the donations we received from our “Freedom Bags”.

We are looking for and in need of volunteers on Saturday, August 24th!

With the help of @andrew_matya & @newdreamua, we were able to provide new uniforms and necessary tactical aid for the soldiers of Ukraine.

We are continuing on our Drone Fundraiser!

We successfully were able to raise $1,300 because of you!! As the war continues on, our soldiers are still in desperate need of drones.

Ukrainians of Colorado supported those in need in Kherson, Ukraine. Below is a message from the organization “HUMANITY”.

“We, the HUMANITY volunteer initiative, thank the Ukrainians of Colorado community from the bottom of our hearts for the contribution of $3,000 for the needs of rescuing people in the temporarily occupied Kherson region.

This past weekend we held our Estate Planning Legal Workshop in Littleton, Colorado.

Thank you to Alex Kirven, an estate planning attorney, who lead curious members of our community in a workshop to inform us on the importance of estate planning.

As the war continues, and bombings harshen, it is our job to remind those of the support Ukraine needs. More than ever right now, Ukrainians need drones to help aid in the fight, and protect our citizens and soldiers.

Ukrainians of Colorado, with the help of @andrew_matya, were able to provide and deliver thermal gear, warm clothes and other items for children of Kherson.

Last weekend, Ukrainians and supporters of Ukraine gathered at the Capitol of Colorado to stand in unity with Ukrainians all around the world to show that we are standing strong in the fight against evil.

Google “Ukrainians” and “Colorado” and you will get an increasingly long list of search results. But people living in Colorado still need much more information about what is going on in Ukraine and how to help.

Earlier this month, Ukrainians of Colorado presented a Ukrainian film series at The Cube multi media center in northeast Denver.

A few months ago, Ukrainians of Colorado was working with Veteranka and Community self-help to raise funds for extremely necessary medical backpacks.

Thanks to your donations and help, we were able to raise $2,155.25. We used those funds to purchase the supplies for the tactical backpacks.
