The Day of Dignity and Freedom

November 21st marks the Day of Dignity and Freedom for our Ukraine.

10 years ago began the EuroMadian Revolution. The people of Ukraine stood up to defend their right to live in a free and democratic country that respect’s other peoples choices. The revolution began due to former pro-Kremlin President, Viktor Yanukovych, refused to sign the long awaited Association Agreement with the European Union. His refusal to sign catalyzed peaceful protests all over the country, with the largest gathering taking place in Independence Square in Kyiv, Ukraine. It was a monumental revolution.

You can learn more of this revolution from the film “Winter On Fire”, available on Netflix, to deepen your understanding of the beginning of such war. This was the beginning of a long domino effect.

Today, Ukraine’s fight to protect its freedom continues.

We must continue to support our heroes and our people.
