Ukrainians of Colorado continues helping and supporting orphans from Schaslyve Sonechko (Zaporizhzhia) with humanitarian aid and basic needs. The orphanage was eventually evacuated to Lviv due to the dangers of the war.

Ukrainians of Colorado supported and funded the delivery of an Ambulance from Lviv to Paratroopers on the frontlines. The distance is 1,300 kilometers.
1,000 Warm Hugs from Colorado to Ukraine
The war in Ukraine has forced two-thirds of children in Ukraine to flee their homes since the war began in February of 2022. This conflict caused the fastest and largest displacement of people in Europe since World War II.
Clothes to Nikopol region
On October 26, a bunch of clothes were collected and delivered to Nikopol region. These are communities where more than 10,000 migrants are registered from further Eastern Ukraine.
Our work
Since we gathered in August for our Colorado Ukrainian Festival, we have been busy at work helping Ukraine! From helping Ukrainian orphans with warm clothes in Zaporizhzhia and distributing food in Kherson, to welcoming combat-injured veterans in Colorado and purchasing over $8,000 worth of first aid supplies for the front - and much much more, see the full list below.

Necessary vegetables to various towns in the Kherson region
This past week, Ukrainians of Colorado was able to distribute necessary vegetables to various towns in the Kherson region, such as Stepanivka and Antonivka. Vegetables were also distributed in Donbas and the center of Kherson.

As summer has come to an end, we are preparing for our Ukrainian Christmas Market Fair on Saturday, December 16th!
Our Christmas Market will take place at The Retreat at Solterra in Lakewood, Colorado. Ticket sales for this event will open on October 16th.

Humanitarian goods for Kherson
Thanks to you and your donations, another 1,200 humanitarian goods were delivered to Kherson.
These goods included: washing powder, liquid soap, rinsing liquid and diapers for children and adults.
Colorado Ukrainian Festival Results
We are still glowing from our Colorado Ukrainian Festival last weekend!
Approximately 2,000 guests came to our festival, and we had a number of generous sponsors for this event! After all the organizational expenses we paid, we raised close to $20,000 in funds.
