Discussion on strengthening America’s support for Ukraine
Ukrainians of Colorado, in cooperation with the Howard G. Buffet Foundation and the German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMFUS), was proud to host a breakfast discussion in Denver yesterday on strengthening America’s support for Ukraine.
Distinguished guests included Congressman Jason Crow (@jasoncrowco ) (CO-06), Embassy of Ukraine First Secretary Kateryna Smagliy, and GMFUS President Heather Conley.
Some 30 members of Ukrainians of Colorado attended, some coming from as far as Ft. Collins and Colorado Springs. Representing Denver Mayor Mike Johnston was Stephanie Garnica, Director, Denver Economic Development and Opportunity office.
The breakfast kicked off a day-long program of outreach to local institutions to gain support for Ukraine in its fight to defeat Russian aggression. Colorado is the seventh state to be visited as part of this “Whistlestops for Ukraine” initiative.
Thank you to all that participated, and continue to support Ukraine!
