The story of Vlad from Kharkiv, Ukraine
Last month event with Zwei Brewery was a huge success! We received over $2000 in donations!
With extra help from Ukrainians of Colorado, we were able to provide 50 families with disabled children in Ukraine with a supply of food and hygienic items. Every family that received help was confirmed to be the ones in need, and every family are deeply grateful and sends the best wishes to their friends from Colorado.
This week we are going to showcase the detailed reports, that includes photos of the children, received aid and words from these people. Your support made this possible.
These reports include feedback and photos from each family that received direct financial assistance. Each family received $75 (3050 UAH) to purchase essential items. Every family has a teenager with an official mediacal diagnosis and state recognized disability — such as cerebral palsy, musculoskeletal disorders, or mentall disabilities.
All the families are immensely grateful to the donors and the project team for their help and hard work. For these people, your care means so much and gives them the strength to persevere. Each family has its own difficult story. Three families are from Kharkiv, two from Marganets—cities that suffer daily from constant shelling. Two families are from Kryvyi Rih, and two from the Dnipropetrovsk region (the front line has approached within 50 km, and there is a threat of evacuation). One family is from the Chernihiv region (they were nearly under occupation).
Today, we share the story of Vlad Dubin from Kharkiv, Ukraine! “ Vlad Dubin, 17 years old (Kharkiv)
